Dear Randi & Staff,

Hayley and I wanted to share an update on Snowball. If you recall, my daughter adopted her last November. She was the white Persian you had for some time.

Her name now is Chloe. She loves her name and answers to it. She is quite a girl. She is a talker and herder. She greets Hayley each night when she gets home and follows her around the house updating Hayley on the day's events. She spends a lot of time trying to herd Hayley to bed so she can keep an eye on her or to the kitchen for treats. She has become very attached to Hayley and calls for her if she doesn't see her in the apartment. She loves to play and has several toy mice with feather tails she bats around.

Chloe went to the vet yesterday and had a wonderful report. She came to us weighing 4lb 13 oz, dehydrated, and with kidney issues. She now weighs 5lb 15 oz, doesn't need IV fluids, and we are very hopeful her kidney ranges will remain in the high normal range or better. We are so excited! Her fur has also come in thick and beautiful. When we got her she was matted and her fur dull.

Chloe is a shameless beggar, and will snatch food off your plate if you are not careful. She is also quite the talker and attention seeker.

Best of all Chloe feels safe and is enjoying life. Hayley had a Saint Patrick's Day party and worried it would be too much for Chloe. Chloe loved the party and actively schmoozed the crowd. She is beginning to ride in the car and enjoy outings. She came to our summer property and had a great weekend. Our other kitty is working on her to become companions.

We are so happy with this special girl and thank you so much for "saving" her for us.

Sincerely,
Hayley, Barbara, Michael, Callie, and Chloe Avgeres

Hi,

I adopted two lab mix puppies in Feb of last year. They have grown into huge cuddle monkeys. I was looking for medium to larger dogs, and these guys are now at 90 and 84 lbs. They have wonderful temperaments and are living the good life. They live on 20 acres with a creek and a lake. Their days consist of swimming, chasing squirrels, running through the creek and lounging in the sun. At night, they cuddle with mom in the living room. Weekends see them out on the boat or going for car rides. They are good with kids, and cats, but keep the deer at a distance. You never really know how a dog of unknown breeding is going to turn out, and in this case it was a perfect match. I believe that the success of this story is directly caused by the wonderful volunteer that spent over 2 hours letting me play with each puppy until I found the right one, and then brought in puppy after puppy until I found two that were a good personality fit both for me and for each other. Without this, it could have turned out very different, since quite a few of the puppies were very dominant. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. Be reassured that at least 2 dogs have found a good life, and it is a forever home.

Thanks again! Keep up the good work.
