On behalf of our animals, members and staff, I would like to extend a very special thank you and a big Woo Hoo to the nearly 200 members of your team that participated in the Comcast Cares Day project at the Spokane Humane Society. I am always amazed at what can be accomplished when an organization such as yours chooses to make caring for critters a priority.
Your dedicated team swarmed our facility and warmed our hearts. In one day your team transformed our tired building and grounds into an energized fresh inviting atmosphere that will make a visit to our place much more enjoyable not only for our temporary furry friends but also for our visitors and staff. Your team's work has given us a boost and has once again instilled pride in our facility.
This incredible day was made possible by COMCAST and most notably a few very dedicated COMCAST employees; please pass along our sincere gratitude to Shirley Parks, Bridgett Gibson, Mike Parks, Ruth Longardner, Jeremy Saty and the rest of the planning group and program volunteers.
Thank you for your support, time, friendship and fun this past weekend; your good deeds and actions send a very clear message to your customers, employees and to the whole community that you care about needy animals in Spokane. We will continue to benefit from your 2008 Comcast Cares Day for many years to come.
